Alex Edler to Retire as a Vancouver Canuck with One-Day Contract

The Canucks will celebrate Edler's career during their October 11 game against the Flyers.

  • He was a key player in the Canucks' 2011 Stanley Cup final run, contributing 11 points in 25 playoff games.
  • After two seasons with Los Angeles, Edler did not play in the NHL last season and will officially retire as a Canuck.
