- Affected jars were sold between March 4 and April 30, 2025 in Bavaria, Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia.
- Consuming the contaminated cherries poses a risk of cuts in the mouth or throat and potential choking or internal bleeding from glass splinters.
- Customers are urged to return the jars to any Aldi Süd store for a full refund and to seek medical care if they experience related symptoms.
