Overview
- The Food Standards Agency issued Allergy Alert FSA-AA-63-2025 for Ashfields 30 Day Matured Thin Cut Beef Steaks in 360g packs with a use-by date of 26 October 2025.
- Undeclared milk presents a health risk to people with a milk allergy or intolerance, and customers are advised not to eat the steaks and to return them for a full refund.
- Aldi has posted point-of-sale notices, is contacting allergy support organisations, and has apologised for the issue.
- A separate FSA notice also covers PYB02 PANATAS Part-Baked 6 Pack Custard Tarts due to undeclared egg, milk, wheat and possible hazelnuts, sesame and soya.
- These actions follow an earlier recall of Gianni’s Cheeky Monkey Ice Cream for undeclared wheat, as retailers and regulators continue to flag allergen labelling problems.
