Aldi Nord customers can now withdraw cash at 2,200 stores across Germany with a minimum purchase of one euro.
The service allows withdrawals in increments of ten euros, up to a maximum of 200 euros per transaction.
Accepted payment methods include Maestro and V-Pay Girocards, debit cards, and Master and Visa credit cards.
This initiative comes as Germans continue to prefer cash transactions more than many other Europeans, despite a decline in cash usage.
