ALDI Debuts First Collection of Ready-Made Meals

The move expands ALDI’s U.S. assortment into fresh protein-forward prepared meals to capture convenience-focused shoppers.

Overview

  • ALDI announced the new lineup on Tuesday, Sept. 22, saying it will roll out seven fresh ready-made meals, tested and refined after more than 100 recipe trials.
  • The collection includes five single-serve meals and two family-size dishes, with single-serve options priced under $8 and family-size meals under $15.
  • ALDI says the meals are sold fresh, never frozen, come in easy-to-heat trays for microwave or oven, and will be merchandised in refrigerated sections near store entrances.
  • Single-serve meals deliver about 30 to 46 grams of protein per serving while family-size dishes provide about 16 to 22 grams per serving, the company reported.
  • The rollout begins in select stores in early October, expands through the fall, aims for nationwide availability by January 2027, and will add new recipes monthly via ALDI Finds.
