Overview

• Over the next 14 weeks, ten new stores in locations including Brighouse, Oldbury, Caterham, Sheffield and Fulham Broadway are scheduled to launch.
• The chain’s £650 million investment supports a target of 40 new UK store openings in 2025 on the way to 1,500 outlets nationwide.
• Each new outlet is expected to create around 40 jobs, bringing roughly 400 positions to local communities.
• In parallel, 30 existing Aldi stores are undergoing major refurbishments to enhance customer experience.
• Store assistants will see their hourly pay rise to at least £12.85 nationwide and £14.16 within the M25 from September 2025.
