Overview

  • Aldi confirmed 20 additional outlets will receive major refits to be completed by December.
  • Two locations—Barrow-in-Furness and Ebbw Vale—are set for full-scale extensions adding capacity before year's end.
  • A further 21 stores will undergo fixture upgrades, enhanced layouts and improved sustainability features under the same phase.
  • The new set of projects builds on a programme that has modernised more than 500 stores with brighter aisles and extra chilled and fresh-food space.
  • The works run alongside plans to open about 40 new UK stores in 2025 as part of Aldi's estate growth strategy.
