Overview
- The runoff was triggered by the city charter after no mayoral candidate reached 50% in the November election.
- Early voting will run Dec. 1–6 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with Election Day hours on Dec. 9 set for 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Voters will have 16 early voting centers and 50 polling places open on Election Day across Bernalillo County.
- Same-day registration will be available, and voters may cast ballots absentee, during early voting, or on Election Day, including those who did not vote previously.
- Runoffs for City Council Districts 1 and 3 will appear on the same ballot, as officials encourage participation despite typically lower turnout.
