- In Abu Dhabi, Anthony Albanese met UAE president Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to compare positions on Gaza, expressing hope for a ceasefire, the release of hostages and increased aid after Australia’s recognition of Palestine at the UN.
