Alaska’s Atmos Cards Raise Bonuses to 85,000 Points

With few transfer options into Atmos, richer sign-up offers loom larger for travelers seeking this currency.

Overview

  • Both the Atmos Ascent consumer card and the Atmos Business card now feature 85,000-point welcome offers, up from 80,000 at launch.
  • A Bank of America business card does not add to a cardholder’s Chase 5/24 count, which may make the Atmos Business version appealing for some applicants.
  • Existing Alaska Atmos Ascent holders report a targeted mailer offering double points on up to $2,000 in purchases, with enrollment required by September 30, 2025.
  • The targeted promo runs through October 31, 2025 and specifies 6x with Alaska and Hawaiian, 4x on gas, EV charging, cable, streaming and local transit, and 2x on other purchases.
  • Atmos points remain relatively hard to build via transfers because Bilt Rewards is the only listed transferable partner, though Hawaiian-branded cards currently earn Atmos and remain available.
