Alaska Rep. Mary Peltola's husband dies in plane crash

Eugene Peltola Jr., husband of Rep. Mary Peltola, died in a plane crash in Alaska.
The crash involved a Piper PA-18 Super Cub shortly after takeoff near St. Mary's, Alaska.
Eugene Peltola Jr. was the only person aboard the plane and was known as a devoted family man.
Rep. Peltola is returning home to Alaska to be with family and has asked for privacy.
