Overview

  • Installations are slated to begin in late 2025 or early 2026, with completion targeted by early 2027 and gate‑to‑gate, low‑latency connectivity that supports streaming, gaming and multi‑device use.
  • The rollout covers Alaska’s Boeing 737 and 787 fleets and Embraer 175 regional jets, leveraging Hawaiian’s existing Starlink deployment; Hawaiian’s Boeing 717s remain excluded.
  • Free access will be available to all members of the free‑to‑join Atmos Rewards program under a sponsorship from T‑Mobile, whose subscribers will receive perks such as ad‑free sign‑on and additional benefits to be detailed later this year.
  • The deal replaces Alaska’s current Intelsat (formerly Gogo) service on mainline aircraft, and the companies did not disclose financial terms.
  • Alaska and Hawaiian also launched the joint Atmos Rewards program that lets members choose to earn points by distance, dollars or segments, alongside a new Bank of America premium co‑brand card.
