Alabama Officer on Leave Following Viral Video of Stun Gun Incident

The officer was filmed using a stun gun on Micah Washington, who was handcuffed and reportedly changing a tire at the time of the incident.

An Alabama police officer has been placed on administrative leave after a video of her using a stun gun on a handcuffed man went viral on social media.
The man, identified as Micah Washington, 24, of Tuscaloosa, was reportedly changing a tire on his car when the officer approached him.
The video shows the officer removing a gun from Washington's pocket, laughing, and then using the stun gun on him.
Washington was charged with obstructing governmental operations, resisting arrest, marijuana possession, drug trafficking and possessing a firearm as an ex-felon. He was released on a $505,000 bond.
The Reform Police Department is turning over all materials related to the arrest to the Alabama State Bureau of Investigation for review.
