Alabama Mother Charged in Deaths of Two Children, One-Year-Old's Body Still Missing

Wendy Pamela Bailey, 22, has been charged with aggravated child abuse, criminally negligent homicide, domestic violence, and abuse of a corpse in connection with the deaths of her two children.
Authorities believe Bailey's one-year-old son, Kahleb Collins, died in September or October, though his body remains missing and a search is ongoing.
Evidence suggests Kahleb suffered severe abuse, including being bound with a rope and physically assaulted, as documented in photos and text messages sent by his father, Steven Bradley Collins.
The case surfaced after a December 8 car crash killed Kahleb's father and two-year-old sister, RyLeigh Collins, and left Bailey hospitalized; neither child was properly restrained in the vehicle.
Kahleb's grandfather, John Elton Bailey, has also been charged for failing to report the child's disappearance, which investigators believe was concealed for months.
