Alabama Man Pleads Guilty to Bombing Attorney General’s Office

Kyle Benjamin Douglas Calvert faces up to 20 years in prison for detonating a shrapnel-filled explosive outside the Alabama AG’s office.

Calvert, 26, constructed the bomb using nails and screws as shrapnel.
The explosive was detonated on Feb. 24, causing no injuries or damage.
Calvert placed stickers advocating various political ideologies around state buildings.
He has denied any affiliation with antifa despite some stickers suggesting support.
A sentencing hearing will be scheduled, with penalties ranging from 5 to 20 years in prison.
