Alabama High School Football Player Dies After On-Field Collapse

14-year-old Semaj Wilkins experienced a medical emergency during practice, prompting an investigation and community mourning.

Wilkins collapsed during warmups and was given CPR before being transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The cause of death is currently unknown; an autopsy is being conducted by the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences.
