Alabama Four-Star Freshman Lineman Micah DeBose Transfers to Vanderbilt

The redshirted 6-foot-5, 320-pound blocker arrives with four years of eligibility.

DeBose announced his move Sunday on social media after one season at Alabama.
He appeared in one game in 2025 and preserved his redshirt as a member of the Tide’s 2025 class.
The Mobile, Alabama native becomes the second Alabama player to join Vanderbilt this cycle, following receiver and returner Cole Adams.
His addition continues Vanderbilt’s recent recruiting momentum that included flipping top quarterback recruit Jared Curtis from Georgia.
Vanderbilt is scheduled to play Alabama on Nov. 14 at FirstBank Stadium in Nashville.
