Alaïa Opens Paris Flagship Store Designed by SANAA

The new boutique at Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré blends fashion, art, and architecture in a space inspired by the maison's iconic 'second skin' designs.

The flagship store at 15 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré is Alaïa's third Parisian location, completing a trilogy alongside boutiques on Rue de Moussy and Rue de Marignan.
Renowned architects Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa of SANAA collaborated with Alaïa's creative director Pieter Mulier to design the space, emphasizing sculptural forms and soft curves that echo the brand's aesthetic.
The boutique features four transparent, rose-tinted tubular rooms on the ground floor, each showcasing a curated collection as standalone works of art.
Art and design elements, including works by Diamond Stingily and Philippe Malouin, are integrated throughout, reflecting Alaïa's commitment to merging fashion with other creative disciplines.
The store includes a spiral staircase, a mezzanine café by Sant Ambroeus, and five floors of office space, underscoring its role as both a retail destination and a hub for the brand's operations.
