• On June 16, Oscar winner Al Pacino and producer Andrea Iervolino joined a delegation at the Vatican for a private audience with Pope Leo XIV.
• Iervolino described the meeting as centered on shared values of family unity, love, compassion and contributing to the common good.
• Pope Leo XIV, elected last month, is the first Pontiff from the United States and a member of the Augustinian Order.
• In May, Pacino signed on to Bobby Moresco’s Maserati biopic as Vincenzo Vaccaro, joining a cast that includes Anthony Hopkins, Andy Garcia, Jessica Alba, Michele Morrone and Salvatore Esposito.
• Magenta Light Studios secured U.S. distribution rights earlier this month and plans to roll out the film on more than 2,000 screens across the U.S. and Canada.
