Al-Nassr Fires Coach Luis Castro After Poor Start to Season

Luis Castro was dismissed after Al-Nassr managed only one win in the first three games of the Saudi Pro League season.
Castro, who joined Al-Nassr in July 2023, failed to secure any major trophies during his tenure.
The club finished second in the league last season, trailing 14 points behind rivals Al-Hilal.
Al-Nassr also lost the Saudi Super Cup final 4-1 to Al-Hilal earlier in August.
Stefano Pioli, former AC Milan manager, is reportedly a top candidate to replace Castro.
