Al-Nassr Assigns Portuguese Coach Luís Castro to Lead Cristiano Ronaldo and Saudi Club

Al-Nassr, a Saudi Arabian club, has hired Portuguese coach Luís Castro, who previously coached Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine and Botafogo in Brazil.
Luís Castro's contract length has not been disclosed.
Luís Castro is the latest coaching hire in the cash-rich Saudi Pro League, following Jorge Jesus and Steven Gerrard.
Castro is best known for his two seasons with Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine, including wins over Real Madrid in the 2020-21 Champions League.
Al-Nassr, coached by Rudi Garcia and Dinko Jeličić last season, is among four top Saudi clubs that were nationalized by the sovereign wealth Public Investment Fund.
