Al-Nassr Appoints Stefano Pioli as New Manager

The former AC Milan boss replaces Luis Castro after a slow start to the season.

Stefano Pioli, 58, has been named the new manager of Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr.
Pioli takes over from Luis Castro, who was dismissed after Al-Nassr won only one of their first three league games.
Pioli led AC Milan to the Serie A title in the 2021-2022 season and to the Champions League semifinals in 2023.
This is Pioli's first managerial role outside of Italy, having previously managed clubs like Lazio, Internazionale, and Fiorentina.
Pioli's debut match will be against Steven Gerrard's Al-Ettifaq on Friday.
