Overview

  • ZDF, ORF and SRF will co-produce two Eurovisions editions of Aktenzeichen XY ... Ungelöst for live Wednesday evening broadcasts in the 2025/26 season.
  • Each special will feature unsolved cases from Germany, Austria and Switzerland in simultaneous transmissions across all three public broadcasters.
  • Veteran presenter Rudi Cerne will host both editions with support teams from ORF and SRF providing localized segments.
  • The collaboration revives the format’s original tri-national model, which was discontinued by ORF in 2002 and SRF in 2003.
  • Additional joint projects announced include a new crime drama titled Obersee, episodes of Das Traumschiff and various documentary, culture and entertainment programs.
