Overview

• Principal photography started on August 23 in Kochi with a pooja ceremony, confirmed by Akshay Kumar’s behind-the-scenes video from set.
• This is the duo’s first on-screen collaboration since Tashan in 2008.
• Haiwaan is produced by KVN Productions in association with Thespian Films, with Venkat K Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn backing the project.
• Production will span Kochi, Ooty and Mumbai, with a theatrical release targeted for 2026.
• A larger ensemble is reported to include Kajol, Bobby Deol, Boman Irani, Sayami Kher, Shreya Pilgaonkar, Asrani and Einar Haraldsson, with Asrani saying he joins the shoot in September.
