• Akhilesh Yadav joined the Voter Adhikar Yatra in Saran on August 30, as confirmed by a post from Congress leader K. C. Venugopal.
• K. C. Venugopal shared photos of Akhilesh meeting Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav, with RJD leader Rohini Acharya also seen at the gathering.
• Launched from Sasaram on August 17, the Congress-led march protests the Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision of Bihar’s electoral rolls and is scheduled to conclude in Patna on September 1.
• The yatra has traversed districts including Gaya, Nawada, Sheikhpura, Lakhisarai, Munger, Katihar, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, Purnea, West Champaran, Gopalganj, East Champaran, and Siwan, and will pass through Bhojpur and Patna.
