• Germany’s Mumbai Consul General Christoph Hallier and the Deputy Consul General paid a courtesy call on Pawar at Mumbai’s Sahyadri Guest House.
• The meeting reviewed ongoing collaboration, including progress under the Maharashtra–Baden‑Württemberg partnership, skill migration and vocational‑training pacts, and language initiatives.

• Separately, the state rolled out immediate flood‑relief steps—allowing DPDC funds to be used for calamity aid, relaxing e‑KYC, and telling banks to pause recoveries—as it prepares a damage report after about 60 lakh hectares of farmland were affected.
