• In a short clip from Kurdu village in Solapur’s Madha taluka, Pawar is heard telling SDPO Anjana (Anjali) Krishna to halt action against illegal murrum excavation after a local NCP worker, identified as Baba Jagtap, handed her his phone.
• Pawar posted a clarification on X stating he did not intend to interfere with law enforcement and that he holds the police in high regard while committing to strict action against illegal mining.
• Solapur Rural Police registered an FIR against several local persons, including Jagtap, under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections 132 and 189(2) and the Environment (Protection) Act for obstructing officials during the August 31 operation at Kapre Wasti.
