A'Ja Wilson leads Aces to Game 1 victory over Wings in WNBA playoffs

A'Ja Wilson scored 34 points to lead the Las Vegas Aces to a 79-69 win over the Dallas Wings in Game 1 of their WNBA playoff semifinal series.
Wilson, the WNBA Defensive Player of the Year, also had 8 rebounds in the Aces' victory.
Wilson is a leading candidate for WNBA MVP this season.
The Aces can take a 2-0 series lead with a Game 2 win over the Wings on Tuesday.
Dallas' Arike Ogunbowale was held to just 12 points in the Game 1 loss.
