Overview
- Unite postponed all September industrial action as a goodwill gesture following further negotiations with Airbus.
- The union had planned 10 days of walkouts from 2 September at the Filton site near Bristol and the Broughton plant in North Wales.
- More than 3,000 aircraft fitters and engineers will be balloted on an improved pay and pensions package.
- If members reject the offer, strikes are scheduled to take place on 23 and 24 September.
