Airbus Sets September Delivery Record, Keeps 2025 Target in Sight

Improved engine availability has reduced parked jets, bolstering a sustained year-end pace.

Overview

  • Airbus has delivered 507 commercial aircraft in the first nine months of 2025.
  • September saw 73 deliveries to 41 customers, up from 61 in August and a record for a single month.
  • To reach the full-year goal of about 820 deliveries, 313 aircraft remain to be handed over in the fourth quarter.
  • The number of completed aircraft awaiting engines has dropped significantly from a peak of roughly 60 as supplier flows stabilize.
  • New orders slowed to 10 in September after 99 in August, while year-to-date firm orders stand at 610 despite cancellations.
