Airbnb Offers Gladiator Experience in Rome's Colosseum

In celebration of 'Gladiator II,' Airbnb is providing a unique opportunity to engage in mock battles at the historic site.

The experience will take place on May 7 and 8, 2025, allowing participants to don authentic gladiator armor and engage in simulated battles.
This offering is part of Airbnb's Icons project, which aims to create extraordinary real-world experiences inspired by iconic settings.
Airbnb's $1.5-million sponsorship deal includes funding for the renewal of educational programs at the Colosseum.
Participants will be chosen through a lottery system after registering for free between November 27 and December 9, 2024.
The experience is designed to promote heritage tourism and includes a tour of the Colosseum's underground chambers and a Roman-style meal.
