  • ATEPSA confirmed five staggered stoppages that will halt takeoffs nationwide on Aug. 22, 24, 26, 28 and 30 in defined three-hour windows.
  • The union’s timetable suspends departures and some ground movements: 13:00–16:00 and 19:00–22:00 on Aug. 22, 24, 28 and 30, and 07:00–10:00 and 14:00–17:00 on Aug. 26.
  • Emergency, sanitary, humanitarian, state and search-and-rescue operations will be exempted from the action.
  • APLA declared it is in “freedom of action” to call a nationwide pilots’ strike after conciliation ended without agreement, with the date to be announced.
  • The government has convened a technical working group with APLA, airlines and ANAC to discuss decree regulation and fatigue risk management, as ATEPSA presses pay demands and cites ten months of frozen wages.
