Air National Guardsman With Top Security Clearance Accused of Threatening Mass Shooting After Leaking Classified Information

Prosecutors say Massachusetts Air National guardsman accused of leaking highly classified military documents repeatedly made threatening statements and kept an arsenal of guns.
The guardsman had access to sensitive intelligence and top secret security clearance but was twice denied a gun permit due to threatening remarks before being granted one when he enlisted.
Investigators found the guardsman slept beside rifles and handguns and posted online about shooting people.
The guardsman allegedly leaked classified information about the war in Ukraine and other intelligence matters on Discord and then tried to cover his tracks as the FBI investigated.
A judge is deciding whether to keep the guardsman in jail pending trial due to risks to national security and of him fleeing or release him with strict conditions.
