Air India Passengers Stranded in Phuket for Over 80 Hours Due to Technical Faults

More than 100 travelers faced delays and emergency landings, leading to frustration over the airline's response.

Passengers of Air India flight to New Delhi were stranded in Phuket, Thailand, for more than 80 hours starting November 16 due to technical issues with the aircraft.
The flight initially faced a six-hour delay, was cancelled, and later, after taking off, had to return to Phuket due to another technical problem.
Frustrated travelers, including elderly and children, took to social media to express dissatisfaction with the lack of communication and support from Air India.
Air India stated that accommodations and alternative flights were arranged for some passengers, and full refunds or complimentary rescheduling options were offered.
Approximately 40 passengers remained in Phuket as of the latest reports, with plans to fly them back to Delhi soon.
