Air India Faces Backlash After 82-Year-Old Woman Falls at Delhi Airport

The incident occurred on March 4, 2025, as the family was traveling from Delhi to Bengaluru, with the woman walking a significant distance before collapsing near an Air India counter.
The family claims that no immediate first aid was provided, and the woman was boarded onto the flight with visible injuries before receiving stitches upon landing in Bengaluru.
The woman's granddaughter, Parul Kanwar, has filed complaints with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and Air India, criticizing the airline for negligence and lack of assistance.
Air India has expressed concern and promised an investigation, while the woman remains in the ICU under observation for potential brain bleeds and other complications.
