Overview

• The Air Force cleared the 492nd headquarters, the 492nd Special Operations Theater Air Operations Squadron, the 319th Special Operations Squadron, and a new Air Combat Command intelligence squadron to begin relocating to Arizona.
• The updated design adds a second OA-1K squadron from Hurlburt Field and the 20th Special Operations Squadron with CV-22s plus its aircraft maintenance unit from Cannon AFB, pending environmental review.
• AFSOC said retaining MC-130 squadrons at current locations proved more effective based on recent analysis.
