During the Colorado State vs Air Force football game, Rams fans threw snowballs at the Falcons’ bench, resulting in a 15-yard penalty against Colorado State.
The penalty allowed the Falcons to secure a first down at their own 49-yard-line, leading to a touchdown that gave Air Force a 20-13 lead.
Colorado State failed to score in the second half, while Air Force capitalized on their momentum to win the game, 30-13.
With this victory, Air Force remains undefeated with an 8-0 record overall and maintains first place in the Mountain West conference standings.
The Falcons currently hold the highest AP ranking of any Group of Five team, paving the way for them to potentially be the first service academy to reach a New Year’s Six bowl game.
