Overview

• Three crew members of the Air Evac Lifeteam, identified as pilot Russell Haslam, flight nurse Adam Tebben, and flight paramedic Steven Fitzgerald, were killed in a helicopter crash in Oklahoma on Saturday, January 20, 2024.
• The crew was returning to their base in Weatherford, Oklahoma, after transporting a patient to Oklahoma City when the Bell 206L-3 helicopter they were aboard crashed around 11:23 p.m.
• The crash occurred near Hydro, about 65 miles west of Oklahoma City.
