AIMIM Unveils 25-Candidate Slate for Bihar Assembly Polls

The move signals a bid to expand its footprint in a crowded race with unsettled seat deals.

AIMIM released an official list of 25 nominees that its Bihar unit prepared in consultation with the party’s national leadership.
Named candidates include Akhtarul Iman in Amour, Mohammed Kaif in Siwan, Anas Salam in Gopalganj, Advocate Shams Aagaz in Kishanganj, and Mohammad Manzoor Alam in Araria.
The roster also features Adil Hasan in Balrampur, Rana Ranjeet Singh in Dhaka, Shamimul Haque in Narkatiya, Manoj Kumar Das in Sikandra, and Naseema Khatoon in Nawada.
In its announcement, the party said it aims to be the voice of the most oppressed people in Bihar.
Polling for the 243-seat Assembly is set for November 6 and 11 with counting on November 14, as Congress rolls out more names, the RJD–Congress seat split remains partly unresolved, and the field spans the NDA, left parties, VIP and Jan Suraaj.
