AIFF Sets Monday Deadline for ISL Clubs to Confirm Home Venues Ahead of Feb. 14 Restart

The federation will move on broadcast deals only after clubs confirm venues with deposits.

Overview

AIFF asked all 14 clubs to submit home-venue details by 12:00 noon on January 12 to enable schedule planning.
The 2025–26 ISL is targeted to begin on February 14 with a 91-match home-and-away slate, pending club confirmations.
The proposed season budget is INR 24.26 crore, with INR 9.77 crore from AIFF and INR 1 crore from each participating club.
Clubs may pay the INR 1 crore participation fee in instalments through June 2026 if immediate payment is not feasible.
Upon receiving confirmations and deposits, AIFF will issue draft governance documents and RFPs, seek AFC exemptions, finalize fixtures and participation agreements, and coordinate with venue authorities.
