Overview
- Eligible faculty can apply on ifp.aicte.gov.in until October 15 for 350 placements in the 2025–26 cohort.
- Fellows will work full time for at least one year with monthly support of Rs 75,000 from AICTE plus a minimum Rs 25,000 from the host industry, in addition to home-institution salary.
- Applicant criteria include being under 45, holding at least a bachelor’s degree, and having five years of regular teaching in AICTE-approved institutions, with doctoral or deputation time excluded.
- Industry partners must be India-registered, operating for at least five years, and show an average annual turnover of Rs 100 crore or more, with preference for listed or overseas-present firms.
- Selection runs in three stages with shortlisting and industry interviews scheduled for November 1–15 and a December 1 start, covering areas such as semiconductors, advanced materials, AI and quantum, space and defence, blue economy, and agritech.
