• CSIR-CCMB Director Vinay Kumar Nandicoori officially inaugurated the Thermo Fisher Supply Centre on June 18, stocking enzymes and key reagents for research.
• Situated adjacent to Thermo Fisher’s Centre for Innovation, the facility aims to streamline procurement processes and reduce wait times.
• The on-site hub is expected to benefit CCMB researchers as well as nearby institutions including the Centre for DNA Fingerprinting & Diagnostics and the National Institute of Nutrition.
• Thermo Fisher director Jayabharath Reddy highlighted the center’s role in accelerating scientific breakthroughs through faster access to specialized consumables.
• The facility’s launch follows a three-day Cell Health Analysis workshop designed to enhance researchers’ skills in cell-based assays for biomedical studies.
