- Nationally ranked flag programs Vestavia Hills (No. 6), Central-Phenix City (No. 3) and Moody (No. 23) won in the opening round to reach round two.
- Second-round AHSAA flag games are scheduled for Nov. 10–13 at campus sites, with statewide pairings published for both classifications.
- Gadsden-area tackle teams play round-two games Friday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m., including Mountain Brook at Fort Payne and Gadsden City at Clay-Chalkville.
- The Super 7 championships run Dec. 3–5 at Protective Stadium, with flag finals on Dec. 3 at 11 a.m. (Class 1–5A) and 3 p.m. (Class 6–7A).
