Overview
- The Commonwealth Sport General Assembly approved India’s proposal, returning the Games to the country for the first time since Delhi 2010.
- Commonwealth Sport confirmed a 15–17 sport framework for Amdavad 2030, with core disciplines such as athletics, swimming, table tennis, bowls, weightlifting, artistic gymnastics, netball and boxing retained.
- The remaining disciplines will be set through consultations beginning next month, with the full line-up due next year, and the host may propose up to two additional new or traditional sports.
