Aguinaldo Payment Window Opens for Registered Domestic Workers

Employers must pay the first half of the Sueldo Anual Complementario for registered domestic workers by the last working day of June, with a legal deposit margin that extends to Monday July 6, 2026.
The medio aguinaldo equals 50% of the highest remunerative monthly pay in the January–June semester, and employers must include remunerative items such as overtime, antigüedad and zona desfavorable when identifying that highest month.
The Comisión Nacional de Trabajo en Casas Particulares agreed on cumulative increases of 1.8% in April, 1.6% in May, 1.5% in June and 1.4% in July, and it integrated 50% of a March non‑remunerative bonus into basic pay now with the remaining 50% to be added in July.
Practical salary references published June 1 show higher hourly and monthly rates for 'tareas generales' that raise sample aguinaldo amounts, but published figures vary by outlet and employers must follow the official scales when available.
