Agroindustry Drove 60% of Argentina’s H1 2025 Exports, FADA Says

Overview

  • Argentina exported US$39.741 billion in the first half of 2025, with agroindustrial chains contributing US$23.827 billion.
  • Within agro shipments, 69% came from grain chains, 14% from regional economies, 9% from meats, 3% from dairy and 5% from other products.
  • Of 20 chains tracked by FADA, 11 increased exports in both value and volume, while soy, pork, tea and poultry declined on both measures.
  • Argentina holds top global positions in peanuts, soybean oil and lemon, and ranks third in maize according to FADA’s monitor.
  • On average 47% of output in the monitored chains is exported, with several—including maize, sunflower, barley, wheat, peanuts, soy, lemon, pears, fishing and legumes—shipping more than half abroad.
