Overview
- Aceitera General Deheza has purchased and registered 90 hectares in Vedia, Leandro N. Alem, committing about $60 million to the processing facility.
- The project is expected to create around 100 direct jobs and will be supported by a municipal industrial operator diploma under the Puentes program.
- Permitting and infrastructure work is set to begin in 2025, including a dedicated power line from Junín and logistics upgrades near the Perkins station.
- Production will target export markets via more than 300 truck movements to the Port of Buenos Aires and planned use of the ex–San Martín rail line.
- The plant will integrate waste treatment and valorization systems based on AGD’s organic residue processing and bioethanol expertise.
