- Opening day is underway at Discovery Park for the 13th annual four-day festival expected to draw about 160,000 fans from every state and 32 countries.
- SacRT is providing free bus and light-rail rides for wristband or ticket holders, plus a shuttle from 8th and K to the venue running every 15 minutes from 4:10–8:30 p.m. then every 10 minutes until 11:50 p.m.
- There is no parking at the venue, with posted restrictions in surrounding areas and reports of towing at private lots near Truxel Road and West El Camino Avenue.
- A paid Park & Ride shuttle connects Cal Expo and Discovery Park with free parking at Cal Expo, priced at $47.77 per day or $143.33 for the weekend and operating from about an hour before gates open to roughly 75 minutes after each night.
- New amenities include the Capital Club all-inclusive VIP area with elevated main-stage views, plus a bike valet and designated rideshare zones near Bercut Drive and Garden Highway, with headliners such as Blink-182, Deftones and Korn.
