  • Emergency crews with a 118 ambulance and a medical car responded promptly, performing resuscitation, stabilization and intubation before transport to Santa Maria Goretti in codice rosso.
  • On Friday a multidisciplinary team at the Goretti hospital conducted the explant from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. while keeping scheduled surgeries running, according to ASL Latina.
  • The heart was dispatched for an urgent national transplant in Bari, with the liver allocated to San Camillo in Rome and the kidneys sent to Policlinico Tor Vergata.
