Oct. 15, 2025: SHA continues to make repairs at the I-70 underpass at Rt 27 in Carroll County. A tractor-trailer struck the underside of the eastbound Interstate 70 overpass at Maryland Route 27 in Mount Airy on Tuesday, prompting a full closure of both eastbound I-70 and northbound Route 27 and causing delays Wednesday, according to Maryland transportation officials.
